About Karen Whalen
My work here is centered around helping small business owners keep their website, message, and marketing clear, current, consistent and connected.
For 14 years, I taught digital marketing in the UW System, where I loved helping people understand complex ideas and turn them into practical steps. I’ve also worked in marketing, training, and small business, which gave me experience adapting marketing ideas and theory into practical steps in many different business situations.
Today, I am the founder of Lake Geneva Art Studio, where I lead creative glass art workshops, private groups, and team-building experiences. As I build the studio and become more connected to the local business community, I see and hear about how many small business owners need practical help keeping their website updated, promoting events, and communicating clearly and consistently with the people they want to reach.
